Prior to being appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Underwriting Officer, Bev was Vice President and General Manager of the Commercial Insurance Division at Island Insurance.
Her previous experience also includes: Beck, Kudlich & Swartman, John Kiner Insurance Agency and National Mortgage and Finance Company, Ltd. Bev also served with Bishop Insurance Agency of Hawaii, Inc. and the Honolulu branch office of Fidelity and Deposit of Maryland.
Bev is active in several industry organizations, including: the Hawaii Surety Association and the Construction Financial Management Association, where she served as secretary. She is also an associate member of the Building Industry Association of Hawaii, National Association of Surety Bond Producers, and the General Contractors Association.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Northern Colorado, is a graduate of St. Andrew's Priory for Girls and holds the Certified Insurance Counselors ("CIC") designation.
