 Nolan Kawano |
Prior to joining Island Insurance, Nolan was Vice President and Treasurer of First Insurance Company of Hawaii, Ltd. His experience also includes serving as the Executive Director of the Hawaii Hurricane Relief Fund (HHRF) and Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer, and member of the Board of Directors at HIH America. He obtained his CPA during his tenure as a Manager at KPMG Peat Marwick.
Nolan currently serves on the boards of the Public Schools of Hawaii Foundation, Hawaii Council on Economic Education and Nuuanu YMCA.
He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and is a graduate of McKinley High School.
