Island Insurance Appoints Cizette Sato as Assistant Vice President, Underwriting Services Division
HONOLULU - Island Insurance Company, Ltd., the State's largest locally owned property and casualty insurance carrier, has appointed Cizette Sato, Assistant Vice President, Underwriting Services Division. Sato will continue to assist in the management of the company's Underwriting Services Division where she is also responsible for the training and supervision of the company's commercial lines underwriting staff.
Sato has nearly 35 years of insurance experience. Her experience includes personal and commercial lines underwriting positions with companies such as: Insurance Hawaii, Bishop Insurance, Hawaiian Insurance Company and CGU in Walnut Creek, California.
Sato has earned an Associate in Underwriting designation from the Insurance Institute of America. Sato is Treasurer of the CPCU Society - Hawaii Chapter and holds a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation, a distinction earned by insurance professionals who abide by a professional code of ethics, have extensive industry experience, and have passed national exams on insurance law, accounting, risk management and ethics.
