Mike has nearly 35 years of legal experience most recently at The Pacific Law Group. He was also a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Edward H. Nakamura of the Hawaii State Supreme Court. He holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in History and Political Science from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society. He received a Juris Doctor degree from the William S. Richardson School of Law, was Executive Editor of the Law Review and is a graduate of Baldwin High School on Maui.
Mike is a former adjunct professor of law at the William S. Richardson School of Law and a former law instructor at the Japan-American Institute of Management Science. He is a prior board member and officer of the Hawaii Speech League and the Pacific Gateway Center, former speech and debate coach at Iolani School, and current committee member of the Hawaii Judiciary’s Committee on Pattern Civil Jury Instructions.
