Marcus Mariota Signs Partnership with Island Insurance
Marcus Mariota has entered into a long-term partnership with Island Insurance Company, Ltd., the state’s largest locally-owned property and casualty insurance carrier. The Tennessee Titans first round draft pick Marcus Mariota will be featured in the company’s advertising and on the company’s website (www.islandinsurance.com).
Island Insurance is the only insurance carrier and one of two Hawaii companies that Mariota has chosen to represent. Advertisements featuring Mariota will begin airing in the fall.

Mariota is the first Hawaii-born athlete to win the Heisman Trophy. A graduate of Saint Louis School, Mariota attended the University of Oregon and was the school’s starting quarterback from 2012 to 2014. One of the most decorated college athletes, Mariota received numerous awards and accolades in 2014 including the Heisman Trophy, Associated Press Player of the Year, the Davey O’Brien Award (as the nation’s top quarterback) and the Maxwell Award (as college football’s most outstanding player).
