Island Insurance Foundation Impacts Nearly 100 Community Non-Profits with over $700,000 in Financial Support in 2017
The Island Insurance Foundation, the charitable arm of Island Insurance, the state’s largest locally-owned property and casualty insurer, donated over $700,000 to nearly 100 non-profit organizations in 2017. Education, elder care, health services, social services and cultural preservation were the major community sectors and include non-profit organizations such as: Hale Kipa, Polynesian Voyaging Society, Kapiolani Health Foundation, Shriners Hospitals for Children – Honolulu, Lanakila Meals on Wheels and PBS Hawaii.
